ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS Lead Auditor Course provides basic training for potential OHSMS Lead Auditors and Auditors with the knowledge and skills to prepare, conduct, report and follows up 1st, 2nd and 3rd party OHSMS audits.
This five day intensive course provides clear guidance to conduct an ISO 45001 audit. Delegates will develop a skill to manage a team of auditors by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques. They learn the fundamental auditing principles in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to OH&S requirements.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the course you will be able to:
•  Explain the purpose and requirements of an occupational health & safety management system, of occupational health & safety management system standards.
•  Explain the role & responsibilities of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow up an occupational health & safety management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1.
•  Delegates will learn the entire audit process from initiation to conducting follow-up.
•  Delegates will learn the expertise to perform an ISO 45001 certification audit as per the specifications of ISO standards
•  Identify Occupational health & Safety risks.
•  Understand occupational health & Safety management system documentation.
•  Acquire the necessary technique to manage an OHSMS audit team
•  Understand the relationship between an OHSMS, including hazard assessment & management, controls and compliance

Pre-Requisites

• Fundamental understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Management concepts;
